Just thought I should take this opportunity, while in the depths of America known as Texas, to offer some sport-driven social commentary.
For those who could not attend (or even some that did and got too smashed to remember), I made a recording of the set I played at Panda Claws on Dec. 23rd. This is a “fuller” recording, running about 20 minutes longer than my set actually ran, and includes all the tracks I had to cut to save time. We’re saving the Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh, one funky groove at a time.
So, after careful thought and planning, I’m going to be hosting a monthly mix-cast on this blog. Actually, a twice-monthly mix-cast.
The first of these will be a new mix I’ve prepared of dance proportions, and the second a “this music rules” type of podcast where its arranged like a radio show. I expect the dance mix to come out within the first half of the month, and the “indie” mix to debut during the second half.
Seems like a good format to shovel my musical taste onto others’ ears. I’m sure anyone who hears will love all of it.
The dance mix should debut here in a bit, keep your pants on. Thnxx.
